  • Dan,
I've only just surfed in and found you - so I missed this!
Is there a replay of it anywhere on this site?
    Best wishes,

Sorry that I missed out on this webinar!
My husband and I started a blog for our small business a year ago, but didn't really know what we were doing (this whole blogging thing was new to us). I just checked your new book out from the library and am reading through it and really getting a lot out of it! I hope to use some of your tips to improve our own blog. Thanks so much for sharing your insight on the hot topic of social media marketing!

  • I attended your webinar, and it was awesome! I just realized today that I haven't received the email with the slides and recording. Did that go out to attendees yet?
  • Some great ideas and stats. However, as another researcher into the science and psychology of social media marketing, I think you're wrong in saying that people need to apologize to their readers for self-promotion in social media. Apologizing for what you're about to say undermines both your credibility and the value of your product or service. Don't apologize - just keep it relevant to your readers.

A full response - including why you shouldn't compensate your readers with freebies or coupons - on my blog: http://www.claireb.org/2009/12/dont-apologize-f...

I would like to have a website like this but a different subject
  • Dan, thank you for your informative, high energy social media webinar!! It was so informative and inspired a blog post (of course giving you props!) I backed up one of your points with my own campaign proof - you were right about combining two unique ideas - if you have time, please check it out. Thank you so much!

Enjoyed your webinar today. Found it to be full of specific useful info - enough to follow up by buying a copy of your new book.

At the end of the webinar a survey popped up, which I didn't have time to complete (only budgeted one hour for it and then had to run off to a client meeting) so a suggestion would be to also send out the same survey via email to participants. I'd have time to fill out a survey on my schedule but didn't have time right at the end of the webinar.
  • I think that was one of the best Social Media Marketing webinars I've experienced yet. I definitely had a lot of notes and ideas for things to do. As the Web Community Coordinator (aka the Social Media Marketer) for my company I'm always looking for new way to view and experiment with. Thank you for these great tools from your presentation.
  • is it possible to share your presentation ?
  • I originally saw your post on the words and phrases that will get you the most retweets and enjoyed it very much. @KateBuckJr referred me via Facebook.

Very much looking forward to this Dan!

'a reliable, repeatable method of crafting a contagious idea has not emerged' ....Just browsing through the opening page of the 'Science of ReTweets'. As a burgeoning SMMer, I too live in search of the 'grail' of the reliable method...yet just to ponder, how does that include include the possibility that spontaneity maybe an important, if not the fundamental contagion, a principle which expresses itself in everything from quantum physics, to sex, laughter, even Christmas. The very delight of the human experience in its many facets seems to have common roots in a source that is by necessity, unknowable, unexpected and spontaneous. Is a reliable measure of contagiousness only possible within a dynamic yet necessary margin of well...unreliability (or unknowability)?
