Hi - great idea, but the sphinn link points to mixx - looks like you just copied the mixx link across by accident? If you could fix (fixx?) this...?

yeah i'm thinking the next steps for votrs.com will probably be some sort of login/account system for personalization and tracking and things of that sort, as well as opening up an api for the kind of thing you're talking about.
all that depends on if people like votrs and start using it a bunch.

Thanks for being bored. I hope it happens more often! Votrs could be a really useful site.

I've been mucking around with my blogger blog to JavaScrpt src in the sphinn badge from one of my php accounts. The extra effort is there because I fancied only having the sphinn badge appear if the post had any sphinns.

I gave that up for two reasons - not sure it's possible to then integrate the sphinn badge pleasantly into the blog post and because votrs.com seems better! Why would I just check to see if a post had been sphunn? Surely the better tool would check to see whether the blog post was doing anything on digg, reddit, sphinn, et al and then display the correct badge accordingly? Then you'd have the debate of whether you'd show all the voting buttons/badges, just the one with the highest number of votes or the one where the post had the best chance of getting too the front page.

You can see why I parked the idea. It was growing!
